Ok folks i've gone to everyone's profiles and updated the character history portions and powers. Not all fo them had changes done, other did. So become familiar with the up to date info on the characters. Some of the new information may shock you....this all will be essential in playing your characters in the upcoming portions of the rp. Every month I will make checks starting this month to see if the history or powers have been added more to on wikipedia.
This may bring certain chaarcters closer and pull others furhter apart. Example, Xavier and Emma and beast working closer and Mystique becoming more seprated form the x-men and finally being a puppet.

Updated,but I tend to mix things around like take portions of different comics and put it on the character.Example,as you know I don't abide by the Frost and Summer relationship.I disregard it completely but try to follow what I can on things happening with her without his involvement.Also the involvement of Academy of Tomorrow,but still following the main universe just throwing little differences.Hopefully that's not a problem.
What about the custom characters?Should the profiles there be updated as well or no?

I would think that the custom characters would be updated by the people who created them.

Updates is good, and custtom characters do need updating..That simplely mean if your custum characters in game has been changed, altered, or any history revealed ect.. it needs to be added to its profile.. And what powers the character has, has to be stuck too.. Adding things as in powers.. in game forum are braught out and cleared with the Administrator..Otherwise characters are acting like gods and the forum will stink and no one will want to play.. a powerful character does not always have to be a omega.. some times you have to use your head and not be stupid in your action or be trying to show boat. I have been seeing alot of that.. as well as attitude. Its only a flipping RPG.. not real life.. so people just need to flipping get over your crap and have fun..this forum has no rule for attitudes and people being @sshole..It just makes hard feeling and people quit.. we lost a member in the begining.. and almost lost two others .. take the hint people.. Cut the drama baby sh!t and have fun in the RPG and knock of the sttitudes and taking the game like your being attacked..

Yes willo it's cool, just so you know summers and emma are nto an item anymore.
Customs do need updates when needed, but canons need updates regularly.
Wolf makes a point, it's juts an rp.

I personally don't see the points in the updates of Marvel Orignal Characters or made up characters, those that choose that certain character may like the powers of the so called character before marvel changed their mind or what not. I don't think we should have to change anything. My profile is like 4-5 pages long, I'd hate to have to update it every few weeks.

I just read my Profile and it isn't anything like I e-mail to ya....I'm Very Disappointed that the Profile I worked over 2 weeks on wasn't posted the way I typed up and e-mailed to ya. I don't like how Marvel has changed Gambit and I have currently stopped readding the comics the moment Mystique became Foxy and Gambit turned into death. I Don't currently follow the comics or the changes made. I play an old Gambit as people call it, the Gambit before all the drama. I am VERY UPSET that the profile was changed and altered not ONE thing I typed up was/in the profile that is posted. Plus the Pics I sent aren't even on the profile. So the Profile that is present isn't the one I'm going by. Those that would like the PROFILE I typed up let me know I'll E-Mail it to ya so you won't get confused.

Your profile you made has been added to the gambit profile, first it's way to long, secondly to many extras not needed and lastly you only need use what is in the template not add to it.

Well,the Admin clearly stated in the beginning of the forum rpg.That the characters are to be played as closely and commonly related to the comic book version.He never stated which,since there are many comics.Though the point is people are suppose to stay within character.Of course this is a forum for fun so minor changes here and there wouldn't be a issue so long as it's still played accurately for the most part.
With canon characters it's how it will be.If it's the made up original character...That's fully at the exposure of the person who made it themselves to work with.
Though canon characters...Follow the comics.Minor changes is fine so long as it's not damaging to the character's personality.

He can play remy anyway he wishes, but he needs to have updates that are current...just edit your profile every month. Just don't ahve remy wiht a fro and all feminate..that well that is just plain wrong for Remy.
yes folks so not to intrude on folks, i'm leaving it up to you to update your canon characters. The beginning of every month i'll post a thread stating it's update time. If by the end of the month an update ahs not been made i'll personally make the update. It's to keep things current and for reference.

Sorry but it doesn't make much sense to me. Don't Know what your trying to say man, need to use spell check. But I play Remy as Remy, Marvel has more than once hinted Remy is Bi-sexual. This doesn't bother me any and if it is needed for Remy to play with a male or female so be it. I'm not a judge mental person.[/font]

OK ok cut the crap.. The forum rule are simple and clear minus the spell check needed.. Everyone coming in was to read the rule of the forum.. if it is to hard to follow that their fault.. Admin rule are there for a reason.. follow them and we all have fun.. Brake them.. then we have flipping drama.. and OOC.. I really hate OOC drama.. its boring and dumb..

I recently updated my custom character's profiles. I usually don't post about it. Though, if anyone is curious of their back story or history. Summaries are posted from time after time on the current and the past arcs. I figured this be a good idea, if people are confused and need a brush up.
I know keeping the actual Marvel characters get updated now and then,but I was just posting for the creational characters. If anyone like to update their own characters please post about it here. I enjoy having a good read about people's characters now and then.Plus it also helps other people understand the character more.

Awesomely good point Willo. I personally think that the cannons should be updated by the admins, but the thing about posting here for the updates on the customs is a great idea. Otherwise, I don't think that people will know they have been.
